The TFI founder was born and raised in New York City. An honors graduate of NYU’'s Tisch School Of The Arts – with a double major in Film & TV Broadcast Journalism – Dan spent years learning the ropes, working in multiple field & studio crew positions before starting his first production company in 1995. Tilson Films was established in 2006, with offices in NYC and Palm Beach County, Florida.
